Compare and Contrast.
Today I am going to compare and contrast two of my books characters. My book is called Report to the principle’s office, by Jerry Spinelli. The two characters I chose to compare and contrast are Eddie Mot and Sunny Wylor. I chose this two characters because they are my favorite characters fro my book. I also chose these two characters, because they are funny, the book talks about them a lot, for me they are the main character’s of the book. I like them also because they both have a problem, and it is vary interesting reading about them, trying to solve their problem.
Eddie Mot was a young boy, who transferred from 5th grade, to middle school in 6th grade. On his first day of school he did not want to get into the bus, he wanted to go back home to his mother, because he new that he was going to be bullied by 8th graders. When he entered the bus he was kind to a kid and asked him if he could sit next to him. But instead the kids through Eddie at the back, back sit of the bus. Then when he went to school Eddie was bullied by 8th graders, specially the knuckleheads, which at lunch time every day they were stilling his lunch meal. Eddie did not have any friends, so he wanted to go back to primary school and ware again his Duffy duck pin, and get nice stickers on his spelling tests. But when Eddie met Pickles, and they became friends, Pickles helped him, so he was never again bullied by the knuckleheads, because one day Pickles had made Eddies lunch descasting, he had put grouse food in it and from then on the knuckleheads never took his lunch again. The similarities that they both want to leave the school. Eddie wants to go back to primary school, and sunny wants to go back to Hillarie’s school. The differences between them are that Eddie wants to make friends, and he is very polite, for example at the school bus on the first day of school, but Sunny does not care, for example just trying to get kicked out of school every day by not washing he hair, by smelling and by doing horrible things to the school.
Sunny Weylor was a student in another school, until one day she was transferred to Plumstead School because at the street that she was living they had to go to the Plumstead School. At the opposite side of her house her best friend Hillary was living, which they also used to go at the same school until they went to middle school. From that time sunny and her best friend Hillary were very mad, so they said that they would not wash their hair again until they were back to the same school, Sunny even said that she would not change her socks too, and one day at school she took of her shoo and everyone went far away from her because her socks were really smelly. When Sunny was at her old school with Hillary she acted like a normal kid. She would wash her hair and change hair socks and T-shirts every day. Now she is very unhappy because she is transferred to another school. The only thing that could make her wash her hair again and be happy is to be at the same school as Hillary. The differences that Sunny has with Eddie is that at the school they are now Eddie is being polite, Sunny is not for example not washing her hair and sticking every day. Sunnis best friend is Hillary Eddies best friend is Pickles. A similarity they have is that they both want to leave the Plumstead School.
At the end Sunny was told by the principle that if she would not start behaving correctly and doing good things she would not have a chance getting kicked out of the school. So she had to do it, she was also assigned be the principle Mr. Brimlow to find a mascot for the school. Sunny became friends with Eddie and helped one another, for example when Humphrey the mascot was lost both of them were trying rally hard to find him. Sunny did not leave the school at the end, and Eddie made friends and was never bullied again by the knuckleheads any more.
